Russian prosecutor wants AllOfMP3 exec to pay

Today, Ars Technica posted a story about how the Russian legal system is after AllofMP3.com former owner Denis Kvasov. They are seeking to stick him with a fine and jail time for his “aiding copyright infringement”. They are seeking a 15 million ruble fine.

A lot is up in the air, the Russian government has not made moves towards the many [child] sites that have spawned since the take down of AllofMP3.com and the emergence of MP3Sparks.com. We are basically in a holding pattern. I personally hope to see these sites survive and the RIAA backing them and iTunes lowering their prices and upping the quality.
