Today’s the last day
of school and
tomorrow opens up
a wonderful world with . . .
games to play,
swimming holes to cool off in,
bee’s to catch and
ice cream galore.
watermelon seeds to spit,
water balloon fights;
the 4th of July’s fireworks in sight,
bicycle races to win.
go carts to build and race,
the town’s Carnival is on it’s way,
with cotton candy and treats galore,
and rides, gypsy’s, and games.
fish to catch,
camping & hiking trips to take;
fireflies to watch,
and mud to throw.
beaches to storm,
sandcastles to build;
crabs to put on my sisters
and seagulls to feed.
