ROADS

“Two roads diverged in a wood, and I –
I took the one less traveled by,”
And has that made all the difference?
I often wonder if that road was really
the least traveled by?

If we run through the woods
don’t we make our own paths?
It doesn’t need to be one traveled
by others or used by us constantly;
it can be our own random meanderings.

And through life doesn’t our path
cross with that of others?
Even if we turn left or right –
we will bump into someone
along our headlong and self-centered chase through life.

Forever, we strive to be individual in a
collective and repetitive society.
