On the screen it had a message about the device not being compatible with firewire cables. I asked and she doesn&#8217;t own one. &#8220;Hmmm . . . Okay I will see what I can find for you.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>So, I found this <a href=\"http:\/\/discussions.apple.com\/message.jspa?messageID=4247478#4247478\" title=\"iPod Firewire Fix?\" target=\"_blank\">link<\/a> on the Apple Forums. It seems there are some mixed results; however, <a href=\"http:\/\/discussions.apple.com\/profile.jspa?userID=837727\" title=\"Happy Snappah\" target=\"_blank\">happysnappah<\/a> got his to work and so did another person following his directions.<\/p>\n<p>If you have this problem and try the fix let me know.
