The iPad comes directly from Alan Kay’s<\/a> dynabook<\/a> and Apple<\/a>‘s 1987 video on the knowledge navigator<\/a>.\u00a0 Jon Udell<\/a> wrote a blog post back in 2003 titled Computers that mimic intelligence<\/a> that talks about his expectations of how soon we will reach a semblance of the dynabook<\/a> and knowledge navigator<\/a>.<\/p>\n

If you have been paying attention, Apple<\/a> recently bought<\/a> Siri<\/a>, ‘Your Virtual Personal Assistant’.\u00a0 Their tag line … “You Ask, Siri Does”.\u00a0 3G and soon to come 4G services, or ubiquitous wireless services and a person can get access to their data anywhere.\u00a0 It is coming and I am excited to see next years products.<\/p>\n

So, if you take all the things I have been thinking about the iPad from my previous posts, it is understandable where Apple is going.\u00a0 They know what they are looking forward and planning for.\u00a0 Do you see it?<\/p>\n
