Talking long distance
\nfrom my padded room & jacket,
\nhearing voices that belong to
\nmyself . . . but claim otherwise,
\nI’m not sure who to believe
\n‘them’ or myself . . . we got sooooo
\nconfused
\nshould I let them convince me
\nand live their lies . . .
\nor should I write myself a
\nnew history & change
\ndirections –<\/p>\n

interesting the sight
\nthat one provides oneself . . .
\npain that only cures itself
\nwith more pain –
\nwhite places & bright lights
\nnever helped me before,
\ndoctors & their degrees never
\ncould see the “light.”<\/p>\n

it comes from a place
\nthat they don’t even know exists
\ndeep inside every De Vinci & Michelangelo
\nit resides – glows outwards and
\nstabs “them” in their eyes;
\nthey fear the ‘gift’ that Raphael’s & Picasso’s have held
\ndear to their vision of reality
\nthere is the ultimate truth
\n& that is where
\nit’s found.<\/p>\n
