I see him over there \u2011
\nhe’s standing in a corner scared.
\nHis feelings are well hidden \u2011
\nhimself is as smiley & happy as can be.<\/p>\n

When things go wrong he’ll
\nsmile it down \u2011 Is he a mental clown?
\nHe has no idea where he goes
\nsometimes he just doesn’t know.<\/p>\n

I see him crying \u2011 he’s confused.
\nHe walks the dark allies of
\nhis mind looking for feelings
\nhe doesn’t want to find.<\/p>\n

Understand he’s not sure
\nwhy a hurricane has hit
\nHis mind – feelings askew
\nyet there’s so much new.<\/p>\n

There he goes, he is running
\nnow \u2011 shadows chasing him
\nbut there not there. Or so it
\nseems \u2011 he’s not sure &
\nhe can’t tell.<\/p>\n

He hides himself unlike
\nanyone else \u2011 I see from
\nwhere I stand. His evils
\nare his own no other mans.<\/p>\n

Richard Cory once his
\nfriend turned & ran instead.
\nI feel for his tormented
\nsoul \u2011 He is being chased
\nby goblins, ghosts, & ghouls of
\nhis own.<\/p>\n

His dreams haunt him
\nno matter where he goes.
\nto him, from where I sit,
\nhe feels he’s in a torture pit.<\/p>\n

I sit down to laugh \u2011 because of
\nhim I see myself.
\nI look inside & see him
\nlaughing at me \u2011 at us;
\nI walk inside.<\/p>\n

I face myself and so does
\nhe \u2011 we look inside
\n& We can’t hide.
\nIt’s time to face
\nthem and turn us around.<\/p>\n
