Ever have that feeling
\nlate in the night;
\nWhen your woman’s away &
\nyou wanna hold her tight?
\nMultiply by weeks &
\nadd some more –
\nStrip yourself of friends
\nand close the door.
\nCry in a corner &
\nturn your back to everything –
\nNo matter how you try
\nit’s always the same damn feeling.<\/p>\n

That feeling I hate,
\nresent & despise;
\nThe one if I’m not careful,
\nit’ll tear up my insides.
\nIt roams my soul
\nmixing my feelings;
\nI can’t hide it –
\nbut I know it’s reeling.<\/p>\n

The moment
\nI think I understand,
\nIt grabs a hold &
\npulls me to shreds.<\/p>\n

No matter how hard I try
\nthat longing feeling stays deep inside.
\nShe won’t come back – I’m not
\nworth her while, simply wasted time.
\nNo matter how I try to please her –
\nI’m never on her mind.
\nI dream about her love
\n& it’s taking me away tonite.<\/p>\n

It hurts to touch it
\nagain – like it’ll never heal.
\nThe bandages pull off the scabs;
\nand blood flows forth.
\nMaybe another woman & another day –
\nbut, for now that feeling is here to stay!<\/p>\n

One day I’ll be whole again &
\nWhen will I never open again?
\nWhen that day comes, I won’t know if
\nI should run & hide or turn to face the
\nfray of battle.<\/p>\n

I can only pray that it’ll last forever,
\nthe love of another woman!<\/p>\n
