I recently watched Disney’s American Legends with my boys. I have always liked the story and legend of John Henry. I know that there are many interpretations and his image has been used in different ways.
What I loved about John’s story is that he was brave and courageous; that he faced his challenges with conviction! He has been celebrated for his faith in himself and his fellow man! To me he was always larger than life! Because of his example; I have always believed that if I could dream it, I could achieve it!
