One of the things I learned from my dad was if you want to know something, do the research. I didn’t always appreciate him handing me a dictionary when I asked how to spell a word or what one meant. I have carried that on with my own children, I tell them to look it up and give them the tools. I enjoy watching them learn something and talking about a new word or animal. It gives me great joy to learn something new from kids interests.
